Vietnamese Christmas Tradition

Christmas in Vietnam is a big deal there, they celebrate a grand-party and, they don't have to be Christian to celebrate. Decorations are put up during December, and they would have life size baby Jesus, and Mary Joseph, the shepards, and the animals from most of major churches like Notre Dame. Like Canada, Vietnam would have decorations on trees, and homes so it would turn into a Christmas area. On Christmas Eve the Vietnamese Christians would travel to the western world, and then come back home to a delicious chicken soup. Families would come together and pray for blessings and practice Yuletide spirit of giving and sharing. Children in are always super excited for Christmas because they believe in Santa Clause and they would put their shoes at the front door on Christmas Eve expecting shoes stuffed with presents.
